Okay, the adsl was installed, though it still doesn't work because they need to activate the connection from the provider or something and they can only do that tomorrow morning.. *shrugs*
Though we will probably have to change modem, because daddy dear is stupid and apparently chose the wrong modem. --;; Oh, the modem works fine - but with that kind of modem, the connection can't be shared - and since we have three computers, and of course my father wants his precious computer to have the l33t connection too...
Sometimes I really wish he'd listen to me. --;; I'd told him to get the OTHER modem if he wanted the connection to be shared, but of course he didn't listen. His attitude is always "I'm right, you're wrong, no matter what you say", even if I've proven multiple times that I know more about computers than he does. --;; He wouldn't even KNOW that adsl existed or what it is if it wasn't for me, ffs.
Oh well. For tomorrow evening when I get back home from work exp, the adsl connection should be working - if not, it'll be my father's fault for not listening to me, as always.
