Things I've learned from having online friends:
1. The education system is a mess everywhere.
2. Timezones suck.
3. So do oceans. Stupid oceans.
4. Language differences? What language differences?
5. Huggles are universal.
6. Guttermind is contagious.
7. Chocolate should be DCCable.
8. When you can't come up with anything else to add to the list, you can always trust your friends to. *points at the comments section, wink wink nudge nudge hint hint* ;)

9. Good jokes spread faster than computer viruses.
10. If anyone invents a funny computer virus, we're fucked.
11. Something that you can't put into words on your own becomes clear as crystal when you're speaking to a friend.

12. You try to say something meaningful like everyone else did and end up writing a #12 like I am without knowing what the hell you're writing about. :-)

13. Sleep is overrated.
14. Internet connections are sentient and evil, and will always disconnect at the worst possible moment.
15. If it's not the internet connection, it's a computer crash.
16. IRC channels have an infinite amount of corners and sofas.
17. You could fit several armies under a sofa.
18. Dust bunnies are carnivorous.

19. Digital water balloons are much less messy and just as fun.

20. People that you can be closest friends with work on a 10 to 1 ratio comparing "Far away" to "Close to". Thank Christ for the 'net.
