So it's snowing again. My sensible side, of course, was saying "You can't go outside now, it's past midnight! The snow will still be there tomorrow! You'll catch a cold! Besides, it's too dark to see much right now". While my childish side went, "...but it's snowing!"

Guess which one won. ;)

Camera flash + snowflakes + darkness = fun. Hadn't thought snowflakes reflected light so well... I have a photo in which a large snowflake floated right in front of my camera just as the flash went off, which resulted in the photo looking like there was a light pointing directly at me when I took it. The photo above is pretty much the only one I can show without doing some serious postprocessing, though. I suck at taking photos in semi-darkness. (That, and I need a tripod, damnit. At least a small one.)
