I've always been fascinated by fire, but it's just recently that I've approached it as a photograph subject. Constantly moving, and bright as it is, I didn't dare try photograph it with a normal camera for fear of wasting film which I would then have to waste money to try and develop.
As it is, I don't have many occasions to take photos of fire, either way, but I've done a few experiments. Here are two examples... the first photo was taken in September 2002, the second in November of the same year.
